1. What is the Return Policy of Once Upon A Trunk?
Most of Once Upon A Trunk’s orders are on a returnable basis. Made-to-order products are on a non-returnable basis since they are specially crafted as per the customer’s requirement. Domestic orders that are unused, unwashed, unworn, undamaged, with all its labels and tags intact, in original packaging and eligible for return are considered.
Please note, international orders are not eligible for return.
Once Upon A Trunk does not accept return on any order/product where a discount or any special offer is applied.
2.How are returns processed?
To process returns, refunds and cancellations, email us at [email protected]
- If the product is eligible for return,refund or cancellation, a consumer may write to us within 7 days of delivery of the same.
- Once Upon A Trunk accepts partial returns, i.e., if a user has ordered four individual products and wants to return one of them, they may do so by reaching out to our customer care team.
- Bundle products are to be returned in their respective sets. For example, if a user has ordered a co-ord set, it is not permissible to return just either of the two pieces of that set. Both the pieces, the pant and the top, are to be returned together.

4. How will I receive my refund?
- Once you request to return a product via email ([email protected]), a pick up is arranged for the item. Our courier partners will collect the item within 2-3 business days from the day of registering the return request.
- This item is then brought back to our warehouse where it is checked by our quality control team. Once the product passes the quality check, a store credit amounting to the product amount is initiated in your Once Upon A Trunk wallet.
- This store credit can be availed by you in your next purchase. The validity of your store credit is retained for a lifetime.
- Once the product is approved after the quality check process, the credits will be generated within 2-3 working days to your OUAT wallet.
- The entire return process takes approximately 15 days from the date of registering your return request.
5. Can I cancel my order?
Yes, you cancel your order within 24 hours of placing it, if it already hasn't been shipped. Please email us at [email protected] to process your cancellation. You cannot cancel the order on your own through the website, we will be assisting you in your cancellation. Reach out to our customer care support team and we will help you out. Please note, in case a prepaid order is cancelled within 24 hours, the total amount will be credited into the customer's OUAT wallet/store credit.
International Shipping & Returns
1. Which countries does Once Upon A Trunk ship to?
Once Upon A Trunk ships globally. Customers from all parts of the world can order.
2. What are the international shipping costs and duties?
For all international orders from outside India, orders under INR 15,000 (approx. USD 220) are charged INR 1,500 (approx. USD 21).
3. Can I return, exchange or cancel an international order?
